The "find&replace" plugin
(new in developer version v0.8.0pre)
With the find&replace plugin you can easy changes string in all pages/templates/shylesheets content.
You find the plugin in the submenu (in the 'page admin' block).
Application examples:
- change a URL in every page content
- correct misspelled word everywhere
- change CSS colors in every stylesheet
simulation
If the checkbox "simulate" is checked, the plugin will not changes anything. It only display the changes in a diff view for every items. So you can easy check the operation results.
limits
- This plugin can only use PyLucid administrator!
- If the CPU time is limited and the replace operation takes to long, you will get a server timeout. You can find a work-a-round in the related trac ticket
